ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Introduction
This Environmental Policy covers works previously undertaken at Lichfield Hockey Club to improve the environment and ensure ongoing prevention of pollution.
It has been developed in accordance with the Environmental Policy as agreed with the Environmental Trust.
This policy:
1) Commits the Club to:
• complying with applicable legal requirements
• continuing to encourage a reduction in energy use
• continuing to liaise with relevant enforcement bodies and maintain good working relations
• proper disposal of waste material
• continuing to protect and enhance the natural environment through effective management of the site.
• continuing to evaluate contractors for environmental credentials and monitor their performance
2) Provides a framework within which to develop more detailed objectives and action plans.
