Vision

To be an open, inclusive and friendly club providing all members with the opportunity to play and enjoy hockey whatever the age, gender or ability.

Ethos

Lichfield Hockey Club’s primary aim is to provide playing opportunities for all within the local community and Staffordshire and we are committed to the growth of hockey across these areas providing structured coaching to all ages, genders and abilities.

All players have the right to play hockey at the highest standard they are capable of, so that the game is both challenging and competitive, with the overall aim of enjoyment of the sport in a safe environment.

We are committed to being an actively social club where people come to play and socialise in equal measure and where elite hockey is just one element and not the overriding consideration.

Objectives

To encourage, promote and develop hockey in Lichfield and its surrounding areas, being inclusive and actively encouraging all aspects of the sport of hockey.

To provide quality structured hockey and coaching for all abilities, ages and genders without prejudice developing opportunities for juniors, seniors and masters.

To provide a social hub for all our members.

To work in partnership with the local community, local schools and other sporting organisations.

To ensure a duty of care to all members of the club.
